This marks the second consecutive all-region honor for Stenson and is the latest postseason award for the senior from Coopersburg, Pa. Earlier this month, Stenson garnered her second consecutive First-Team All-ODAC honor and her fourth straight all-league accolade. This season, Stenson led a Maroon defense that allowed just 19 goals on the season for an ODAC best 1.16 goals per game average. Stenson helped RC post five shutouts on the season. Offensively she had one goal to go along with a pair of assists. She was also named to the ODAC All-Tournament team. Stenson started all 71 games during her career in Salem. She finished with three career goals and nine assists.
A sophomore from Laytonsville, Md., Wooten receives her first all-region award just weeks after being named First-Team All-ODAC for the first time. Wooten capped her second season with Roanoke by registering 32 points on the season which ranked fourth most in the ODAC. She scored 13 goals on the season which was fifth best in the ODAC, while her six assists were sixth highest in the league. Four of her 13 goals proved to be of the game-winning variety. Wooten was also named to the ODAC All-Tournament team after assisting on Lauren Heffron's goal in the quarterfinal win over R-MC and scoring in the semifinals against Lynchburg. For her career she 29 goals and 12 assists for 70 career points.
Roanoke finished the season with 12 wins and made an appearance in the ODAC Semifinals for the second straight season.
